San Sebastian private tour & panoramic views
Learn about our Basque culture and history, starting the tour at the entrance of the Town Hall of San Sebastian, a former Casino – one of the most important meeting places for the bourgeoisie during the Belle Epoque.
Going inside the Old Quarter, we will travel to the past of San Sebastian; the oldest area will show us what it was like to live in a fortified city near the border with France, lifes depending on the sea and waiting for the battles to come.
Continue visiting the historical areas like the Constitution Square, the beautiful narrow streets, the local food market, head to the magnificent Buen Pastor cathedral, stopping along the way at Guipuzcoa Square, admiring the beauty of the XIXth century architecture beside the river and promenade along the 3 beaches of San Sebastian. Find the secrets of the sculpture on the edge of the coastline and why we call it ‘The Comb of the Winds’.
Highlight of the tour, spot France and the Pyrenees mountain range from the top of the hill, taking amazing pictures with the best view of the city and its famous bay.
As an addition to the walking area, to the ones requiring less walking time or distance, we could use a private vehicle to take you the the furthest highlights and lookouts.
